Tatamagouche Looking For A New Logo
TATAMAGOUCHE – The Tatamagouche Village Commission is sponsoring a logo contest to find a trademark image to represent the rural village. Village clerk Marilyn Ebsary said the symbol must be an original, creative design that clearly represents the village.
“We want something that will personify Tatamagouche,” said Ebsary.
The commission plans to use the logo on promotional items such as letterhead, lapel pins, T-shirts or other marketing materials.
The contest is open to all ages and submissions must be received by the Commission no later than Nov. 30, 2009.
The winner will be decided at the organization’s December meeting and will be announced early in 2010.
The top prize is a $100 gift certificate.
To submit an entry e-mail tata.village@ns.sympatico.ca or mail to C/O village clerk Marilyn Ebsary, P.O. Box 119, Tatamagouche, N.S., B0K 1V0.
The commission meets the second Tuesday of every month and invites public input on a project it is currently working on to establish a joint emergency measures team to aid the village in being self sufficient in times of emergency.
